These Website Sales Terms & Conditions (“Retail T&Cs”) apply to all purchases made through www.compounddubz.co.uk by members of the public, including DJs, collectors, and fans. These terms apply to retail purchases of lathe-cut vinyl records and related physical products.

This Retail T&Cs apply to all orders placed on or after January 2026 and are governed by UK consumer law.

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

All records sold via the Compound Dubz website are lathe-cut vinyl records unless otherwise stated. Lathe-cut records are individually produced in real time and differ from traditionally pressed vinyl.

As a result of the manufacturing process, minor variations in sound, surface appearance, groove depth, or finish are normal and should be expected. These characteristics do not constitute defects.

2. SOUND & PLAYBACK DISCLAIMER

Playback quality may vary depending on turntable setup, stylus condition, tracking weight, cartridge alignment, and playback environment.

Compound Dubz is not responsible for playback issues caused by:

• Incorrect tracking force
• Worn or damaged styli
• DJ back-cueing or cue burn
• Poorly maintained or unsuitable playback equipment

Lathe-cut records require careful handling and correct setup for optimal performance.

3. COPYRIGHT, OWNERSHIP & CUSTOMER WARRANTIES

By placing an order, the customer confirms and warrants that they own, control, or have obtained all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to reproduce the audio content supplied for cutting.

Compound Dubz does not verify ownership, copyright status, or licensing of submitted audio and has no obligation to investigate whether content is copyrighted, bootlegged, unreleased, ripped from third-party platforms, or otherwise unauthorised.

The customer accepts full legal responsibility for any copyright infringement, unauthorised reproduction, or misuse of third-party intellectual property arising from their order. Compound Dubz shall not be held liable for claims, losses, or damages resulting from such actions.

Compound Dubz reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue any order where there is reasonable suspicion of copyright infringement or unauthorised use, without obligation to provide justification.

4. ORDER PROCESS & ACCEPTANCE

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An order confirmation email does not guarantee dispatch and does not constitute acceptance of the order.

Compound Dubz reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at its discretion, including in cases of suspected copyright infringement, pricing errors, or stock availability issues.

5. PRICING & PAYMENT

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

Compound Dubz reserves the right to update pricing at any time without notice.

6. DISPATCH & DELIVERY

Dispatch times are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once an order has been dispatched and handed to the courier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the customer. Compound Dubz is not liable for delays caused by postal services or couriers.

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery information is provided at checkout.

7. LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If an item arrives damaged, the customer must notify Compound Dubz within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence.

Lost or damaged items may be eligible for replacement or refund at Compound Dubz’s discretion, subject to courier investigation and insurance coverage.

8. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Under UK consumer law, customers have the right to return non-faulty items within 14 days of receipt. Returned items must be unused and in original condition. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Minor cosmetic variations inherent to lathe-cut production
• Playback issues caused by equipment setup or misuse
• Normal surface noise associated with lathe-cut records
• Loudness of the cut to not be the same as a pressed record

Faulty items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with statutory rights.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Compound Dubz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use or misuse of purchased products.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Compound Dubz shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including equipment failure, supply chain disruption, illness, or acts of God.

11. TERMS UPDATES

Compound Dubz reserves the right to update these Retail T&Cs at any time. Continued use of the website and placement of orders constitutes acceptance of the current version.

12. TRADE & PRODUCTION ORDERS

Trade, wholesale, artist, label, or batch-run production orders are governed by separate Production Terms & Conditions and are not covered by these Retail T&Cs.
